Last month, Michail Rovatsos (Charles University, Prague) visited ISTA. He was part of Lorena’s Qualifying Exam Committee. He also gave the first seminar of our weekly event: Evolunch. Michail gave a fascinating talk on how reptiles can help us better understand the evolution of sex chromosomes. Evolutionary biology enthusiastic scientists were able to meet him and discuss their ongoing projects.
